QA & Accreditation Certificates

Recognition, Quality Assurance & Accreditation at UCB.

1 - Jordanian CAQAC-HE certificate of Institutional QA:

The Council of the Accreditation and Quality Assurance Commission for Higher Education Institutions has issued, in its session No. (20/2022) held on (15/6/2022), Resolution No. (305/20/2022), which states the following: “To grant the University College of Bahrain / Kingdom of Bahrain the Jordanian Quality Assurance Certificate issued by the Accreditation and Quality Assurance Commission for Higher Education Institutions for a period of three years.

2 - Jordan certificate of Recognition of Bachelor and master programs (HEC letter Number 306 dated 30/11/2023)

3 - KSA Certificate (letter No. 4400775896 dated 29/01/2023): Including UCB in Safeer (Ranked universities website), of the Ministry of Education in Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

4 - ​Institutional Accreditation by The Higher Education council in Bahrain

(HEC Decision 182/10/2024 dated 6 March 2024): Certificate of Institutional Accreditation

5 - Jordanian CAQAC-HE certificate of QA of MBA Programme:

The Council of the Accreditation and Quality Assurance Commission for Higher Education Institutions has issued, in its session No. (11/2024, which states the following: “To grant the University College of Bahrain / Kingdom of Bahrain the Quality Assurance certificate for the Master Degree of Business administration for a period of two years.

6 - QAA-UK external institutional review (IQR) and programme review (IPA) for MBA:

UCB took part of an external Review by QAA’s peer reviewers following the 3 stages:

Stage 1: UCB applied for External IQR and IPA review on 13 April 2023.

Stage 2: UCB had a scoping visit by QAA on 19-20 September 2023.

Stage 3: UCB submitted self-evaluation documents for IQR/IPA to QAA on 24 January 2024 respecting the 10 standards of ESG (European Standards Guide)

A visit of 4 days by QAA peer reviewers to UCB to check UCB approaches to QA against UCB SED:  from 15 to 18 April 2024

  • Outcomes of the review: As by QAA reports for IQR & IPA on 18 July 2024
  • UCB meets all the standards for IQR & IPA subject to meeting specific conditions.

UCB Actions plans (APs): UCB prepared actions plans for both IQR and IPA to meet the specific conditions. These APs had been adopted by UCC on 5 September 2024.

The action plans were submitted to QAA on 18 September 2024 and UCB got the approval to publish both Aps on UCB website:
