Alumni Student Council

The Alumni Council enhances the academic, cultural, and social landscape of the University College of Bahrain (UCB) through various initiatives and events. The council advocates for alumni interests, develops a strong alumni network, and fosters community connections between alumni and current students. Furthermore, the council actively contributes proposals and perspectives to ensure they are considered in support of the university’s mission.

Ms. Nada Al Thawadi

Ms. Nada Al Thawadi, the President of the Alumni Council, is a distinguished alumna of UCB. She earned her bachelor’s degree in Business Administration in 2011 and her MBA in 2023. Currently, Ms. Nada serves as a Senior Financial Analyst at the Ministry of Industry and Commerce. With her extensive experience and dedication, she strives to strengthen the bond between alumni and the university and to cultivate a vibrant alumni community.
Sh. Ahmed Khalifa Al Khalifa
Sh. Ahmed Khalifa Al Khalifa, the Vice President of the Alumni Council, graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Communication and Multimedia, specializing in Public Relations, in 2020. He currently serves as the Executive Director of both the Bahrain Sports Federation for Disabilities and the Bahrain Deaf Sports Federation. His leadership and expertise are invaluable to the council, playing a key role in strengthening the connection between alumni.
Mr. Nasser Salah Al Tattan
Mr. Nasser Salah Al Tattan, the Treasurer of the Alumni Council, graduated with an MBA in Islamic Finance in 2019. He currently serves as the Head of Commercial and SME Banking at Bahrain Islamic Bank (BisB). With his expertise and financial acumen, Mr. Nasser plays a key role in managing the council’s finances and ensuring effective budgeting. His experience and dedication contribute significantly to the council’s success and the advancement of alumni initiatives.
Ms. Muneera Obaid
Ms. Muneera Obaid, the Secretary of the Alumni Council Board, is a distinguished MBA graduate from the Class of 2024. She currently serves as an Assistant Board Secretary at the National Bank of Bahrain. With her expertise and dedication, she plays a pivotal role in managing board activities and ensuring smooth communication within the council. Ms. Muneera's commitment to supporting alumni and enhancing their engagement reflects her passion for fostering a strong and connected alumni community.
Mr. Abdulla Rawanbakhsh
Mr. Abdulla Rawanbakhsh, the Head of Public Relations for the Alumni Council, is a distinguished graduate with a bachelor’s degree in business administration, specializing in accounting, earned in 2011. He currently serves as an Internal Audit Manager at Bahrain National Holding. With his extensive background and expertise, Mr. Abdulla plays a pivotal role in strengthening alumni relations and promoting engagement within the UCB community.
Mr. Maarek Fouad AlNassar
Mr. Maarek Fouad Alnassar, Head of Alumni Activities for the Alumni Council, is a 2024 graduate with a Master of Business Administration. He currently serves as a VIP Sales Manager at Mobily, Saudi Arabia. With his expertise and leadership, Mr. Maarek plays an instrumental role in organizing and enhancing alumni events and initiatives, fostering a strong and engaged alumni community. His role is pivotal in bridging the gap between alumni and the university, ensuring that alumni remain connected and actively involved.
Mr. Ahmed Ali Showaiter
Mr. Ahmed Ali Showaiter, a 2022 Master of Business Administration graduate, serves as a valued Executive Member of the Alumni Council. With his advanced business acumen and dedication, Mr. Ahmed plays a pivotal role in bridging the gap between alumni and university management, contributing to the council’s mission of enhancing alumni engagement and support.
Ms. Noora Saleh bin Zaiman
Ms. Noora Saleh Bin Zaiman, a 2024 graduate of the Master of Business Administration program, is a valued member of the Alumni Council's executive team. Her expertise and dedication make a significant contribution to enhancing alumni engagement and advancing initiatives that benefit the UCB community.
Mr. Christopher Khalil Tadros
Mr. Christopher Khalil Tadros, a 2014 graduate in Business Administration with an emphasis in Management, is a valued member of the Alumni Council's executive team. His extensive experience and leadership skills make a significant contribution to the council's efforts in enhancing alumni engagement and supporting the university's mission.
