University College of Bahrain hosted a guest lecture titled “Data Analytics and Business Intelligence” as part of its ongoing initiative to connect academic learning with industry practices. The session featured Mr. Rajib Bhattacharya, Assistant Manager – Digital Transformation at Foulath Infotech, Bahrain, who provided students with an in-depth overview of the data analytics lifecycle. Topics covered included initiating data analytics projects, data engineering, various types of data analytics (descriptive, diagnostic, predictive, prescriptive), artificial intelligence and machine learning, as well as data management and governance.​

The lecture was well-received by students, who engaged actively during the interactive session. To honor Mr. Bhattacharya’s valuable contribution, Dr. Yusuf Mohamed Janahi, Vice President for Academic Affairs and Quality, presented him with a token of appreciation on behalf of the University College of Bahrain. The event successfully bridged the gap between theoretical knowledge and practical application, providing students with insights into real-world data analytics practices.​
