Dr. Rana Sawaya, UCB President, represented the university at the QS Higher Education Summit: Middle East 2025, hosted by the Gulf University for Science and Technology in Kuwait. She participated in the high-level discussion titled “Building an Equitable Foundation: Sustainability, Society, and Leadership.”

This impactful session addressed the urgent need for leadership frameworks that promote sustainability, equity, and social well-being in the face of today’s global challenges. The panel explored strategies for cultivating environments that empower transformative leaders across education, industry, and society.
