University College of Bahrain proudly hosted another successful and impactful Research Day on May 7, 2026, bringing together academics, researchers, and students in a dynamic celebration of knowledge, innovation, and research excellence. The event was officially opened by Dr. Rana Sawaya, President of UCB, followed by welcoming remarks from Dr. Sakher Al-Bazaiah, Head of the Business Administration Department, emphasizing the importance of impactful research, innovation, and academic collaboration.
One of the highlights of the event was the inspiring international panel discussion featuring distinguished speakers Dr. Amina Buallay and Dr. Ahmad Rafiki, moderated by Dr. Muhammad Rizky, which shared valuable insights on impactful, interdisciplinary, and globally relevant research that contributes to society and the economy.
The event also showcased outstanding student talent through the highly engaging 3-Minute Thesis (3MT) Competition in both English and Arabic tracks, as well as the innovative Poster Presentation Competition, reflecting UCB’s strong commitment to research culture, critical thinking, and academic creativity.
