His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Salman bin Mohammed Al Khalifa, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Labour, emphasized the importance of Career Day events hosted by private educational institutions, highlighting their role as vital platforms for guiding university students toward appropriate career opportunities within the labour market. He noted that such initiatives are instrumental in raising awareness about employment prerequisites, with a particular emphasis on empowering qualified Bahraini talent to meet the demands of diverse and productive sectors.

This statement was made during the inauguration of the 20th Career Day Exhibition, organized by the University College of Bahrain. The event was attended by Sheikh Ali bin Khalid Al Khalifa, Executive Director of Strategic Planning at UCB, Dr. Rana Abdulla Sawaya, UCB President, along with several officials from the Ministry of Labour, university representatives, and invited guests.

The Career Day aims to introduce university students to employment and training opportunities offered by participating institutions and companies in the private sector. The event also provides students with a valuable opportunity to develop job interview skills and engage in direct discussions with company representatives to gain insight into various career paths available in the labour market.

The Undersecretary toured the exhibition booths of the participating entities and praised the efforts of private companies and institutions in strengthening their partnership with the Ministry. He also acknowledged their valuable support in advancing the Ministry’s initiatives related to career guidance and counselling for graduates and job seekers.
