The Department of Information Technology at the University College of Bahrain organized a workshop titled “Cybersecurity and Digital Responsibility.” The session was delivered by Mr. Ali G. Beshara (CISM, CISA, CRISC, ISO 27001), Founder – Technology and Cybersecurity Advisor, a distinguished cybersecurity and information security professional.
Mr. Beshara provided students with practical insights into cybersecurity awareness, ethical digital practices, and regulatory considerations in today’s technology-driven environment. He highlighted the importance of responsible technology usage, cyber ethics, and proactive security practices essential for students’ academic and professional development.
The workshop was well-received, with students actively engaging throughout the session. To honor Mr. Beshara’s valuable contribution, Dr. Yusuf Mohamed Janahi, Vice President for Academic Affairs and Quality, presented him with a token of appreciation for sharing his expertise and inspiring students toward responsible digital citizenship.
