In observance of GCC Red Crescent Day, and as part of its ongoing commitment to promoting volunteerism, community giving, and campus health and safety, University College of Bahrain, in collaboration with the Paramedics Academy Team, organized a specialized workshop titled “First Aid… Save a Life with Your Hands.” Presented by trainers Osama Saeed Al-Muraisi and Faisal Mohamed Bu Ali, the session drew strong engagement from students, faculty, and administrative staff.

The workshop aimed to foster a culture of first aid and prepare students to respond swiftly and effectively to medical emergencies. Participants were equipped with essential skills and practical knowledge to handle common emergency scenarios—such as choking, cardiac and respiratory distress, and burns—until professional medical help arrives.

This initiative reflects the college’s dedication to social responsibility, instilling values of community service, and creating a safe, prepared university environment capable of handling health crises confidently.
